VENUE BOOKING AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT is for the services of music and/or entertainment described below between the undersigned Artist(s) (includes accompanying musicians and/or entertainers as described below, hereinafter referred to as “ARTIST”) and the Venue who is to provide booking and management services (hereinafter referred to as “VENUE”).

1.The VENUE engages the ARTIST and ARTIST hereby agrees to perform the engagement provided with all of the terms and conditions set forth including those listed in "Additional Terms and Conditions", for a period of _________________(_______) years, effective this ___________ day of ___________, 20__.

Only one ___-minute break for each hour of performance is allowed unless other arrangements are made with AGENT.

GUIDELINES FOR PRIVATE PARTIES:


2.The VENUE agrees and guarantees to pay ARTIST the total amount listed above less____ % percent, and less any expenses for personal services, booking fees, contract fees, and telephone expenses rendered and incurred in this transaction.

3.If ARTIST is unable to perform (due to sickness, accidents, riots, strikes, epidemics, acts of God, or any other legitimate conditions beyond his or her control), ARTIST will take reasonable measures to provide a suitable alternate ARTIST.

4.GOVERNING LAW: This AGREEMENT shall be governed by the laws and in the courts of the State of _____________ and by the laws of the United States, excluding their conflicts of law principles. Any dispute or legal proceeding regarding the AGREEMENT shall take place in the County of _____________, in the State of _________________.

5.This contract constitutes the sole, complete, and binding agreement between the ARTIST(s) and the VENUE.       
6.Members of unions or guilds, which may include leader and members of this unit, agree to accept sole responsibility for complying with the rules and regulations of said unions or guilds of which they may be members.

7.This agreement and option shall be considered renewed at the end of the period herein unless ARTIST receives a written notice with the intent to terminate this contract. Any questions relating to this agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of ______________________.
